2010 Madison Mustaches for Kids is Finally Here

People around Madison have been asking me, "Raj, when do I get to grow my mustache?" For the longest time I've had to tell the throngs of people to be patient and that soon they would be able to dress their upper lip with a distinguished stache. Well the wait is finally over folks. The 2010 Madison Mustaches for Kids is about to begin. Gentlemen, start your upper lips. For those who don't know, Madison M4K is a charity event where men start clean shaven and grow a mustache for a month, getting donations along the way. At the end of the month , there is a 'Stache Bash to crown the 'Stache Master of Madison. All money raised goes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin, so unless you hate kids, you should do it. The first meeting is going to be next Monday, March 29, 2010, at Madison's Downtown (see sidebar for other dates and locations). Come clean shaven to have your pic taken. Also, there will be some free beer provided by the bars at the event. So spread the word. The more the merrier, and let the mustache growing begin.

PS - I know this is kinda short notice, so if you can't make the first one or know someone else that can't make the first one. Don't fret. Just shave Monday, take a pic of yourself, send it to madmustachesforkids@gmail.com, and come to the next meeting. Done and done.

We're at the two week mark now. To celebrate this, the next 'Stache Bash meeting is tomorrow, April 21, 7:30 pm at Madhatters (322 W Gorham St). I wanna thank the Kollege Klub for allowing us to have our meeting there last week. See everyone tomorrow night.
